The Claiborne at Hattiesburg (also known as Whispering Pines) is a two-phase development located in Hattiesburg, MS. The first phase consists of a forty-four (44) unit Assisted Living Facility, twenty-four (24) unit Memory Care Facility and twelve (12) Cottage Development which opened in the Fall of 2014. The second phase began construction in March of 2014 is a one hundred thirty-two (132) unit Independent Living Facility which opened in the Fall of 2015. The first phase was financed by BancorpSouth originally and replaced with a Fannie Mae loan in December of 2017, and the second phase was financed by Trustmark National Bank. As a third phase, land was also sold adjacent to this property for a third party to build a nursing home.
